Animal Welfare

Teva UK Limited does not commission any animal testing on its products. But like all pharmaceutical companies who seek to develop cures and treatments for disease, our parent company Teva is required by law to do animal studies as part of its regulatory obligations. Today, safety studies utilising animals before they can be used on humans are a legal requirement and it may take some years before valid alternatives for these studies are approved for use.
