Student Bursary
Teva is committed to the continued development of pharmacy, and so each year we offer a limited number of Student Bursaries for students wanting to gain a degree-level qualification in Pharmacy or a similar subject.
The Bursary Scheme is intended to help students who would otherwise suffer hardship. This might mean financial hardship or the need for help with caring for a relative. We especially welcome applications from A-level students who receive the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) or Carers Allowance.
The Scheme is open to any home UK student either already attending, or who has been offered a place on, any full time UK-based undergraduate course approved by a School of Pharmacy or similar. Up to ten bursaries will be awarded each year, each one being a payment of £500 for each year of study for up to three years. There is no obligation to work for Teva upon graduation - the primary purpose of this scheme is to provide individual assistance and support to enable the continued study of pharmacy.
We have awarded the bursary for the 2009/10 academic year, if you are interested in applying for 2010/11 academic year the closing date is Thursday 30th September 2010.
