Wind-eze gel cap

Our gel caps both contain the active ingredient simeticone. It’s an anti-foaming agent that works in your gut to gently disperse all the tiny bubbles of gas.

The gel caps are easy to swallow.

Just take 1 capsule 3 or 4 times a day after meals and at bedtime as needed.

Talk to your GP if your symptoms persist for more than 14 days or gets worse.

Trapped wind advice

Trapped wind can be painful and embarrassing, but changing your eating habits can help. Take control with these tips:

Eat the right food. Some foods create more gas than others. Try keeping a diary to find the foods that trigger your wind, and then take steps to avoid them. Beans, onions, broccoli, cabbage, sprouts and cauliflower are well known to make you gassy. You may find fruit juice, fizzy drinks and dairy products add to the problem. The way your food is cooked can also make a big difference.

Eat the right way. If you eat too quickly you can swallow large chunks of food that haven’t had time to get fully coated with saliva. You may also gulp down lots of air. All this hampers your digestion. It’s much better to take your time when you eat. Chew well and swallow with your mouth closed.

Eat at the right time. Let your digestive system work smoothly and efficiently. Try and get into the habit of eating regular meals, and eat your last meal at least 3 hours before bed.
