The OTC Marketing Awards recognise the best of the British OTC industry. These awards focus exclusively on suppliers of OTC products – for example non-prescription medicines, food supplements and selected unlicensed healthcare products – in both pharmacy and grocery outlets.
Teva also received five ‘Highly Commended’ mentions across other OTC Awards categories on the night, including Mobile Marketing and Digital Campaign.
The Expert Judging Panel commented on Teva’s Social Media Campaign saying:
“Teva has shown true innovation in the digital space. The campaign utilises techniques that have the potential to revolutionise traditional data-collection methodologies in a more cost effective and timely manner. With Infacol® they demonstrated a smart way to use social media to drive innovative brand change and new claims messaging.”
The judges commentary for the PR campaign included this praise:
“Creative, warm, engaging and emotive, Sudocrem’s ‘Play More’ campaign brilliantly targeted nursery workers who use the product to treat babies’ nappy rash. This campaign was based on a strong insight and expertly executed.”
Robyn Hughes, Senior Director, Teva UK, said:
“It makes me truly proud that we have been recognised as having the best PR campaign and best Social Media Campaign across the whole OTC industry. This is the latest in many awards won by the team and they continue to deliver great results.”
