Our commitment to patients and their health is steadfast. We recognise this tremendous responsibility and also see it as an opportunity for us to improve lives and to make a lasting social impact. By joining Teva, you’ll be working for a global company that improves the health of millions of people. Reinforcing our positive contribution to society, we take care of the environment, carry out all our activities with integrity and ensure transparency in every aspect of our business.

The environment

We want to be a producer of zero emissions and have lots of projects in place to help us achieve our ambition, including increasing our recycling, reducing our water consumption and converting our sites so they run on renewable electricity.

We’ve recently achieved an A- score from CDP, an environmental disclosure non-profit, for progress in addressing climate change. We’ve also reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 23% since 2012, recycle 52% of our waste and received the EcoVadis Silver Medal for responsible conduct in environment, labour and human rights practices, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Diversity & inclusion

At Teva, we pride ourselves on being a company where we can all thrive, and where everyone feels comfortable being their true self.

Diversity and inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do. By valuing difference, we can be a better employer for our colleagues, and provide a better service for our customers and patients. That’s why we’re constantly looking for ways in which we can learn from each other, embrace what makes us unique and contribute to a fairer society free from discrimination and prejudice.

Giving back

We’re a big player on the world stage but also understand our responsibilities to the people and communities where we operate.

We support our local communities by contributing professional and financial resources where needed. We also donate medicines to patients in need and support emergency relief efforts in partnership with humanitarian relief organisations. In 2018 we donated more than $380m worth of medicines to patients around the world.

We support colleagues who want to fundraise and volunteer in the local community, working with organisations that improve health and have a lasting social impact. We also operate a payroll giving scheme that enables colleagues to donate money to their chosen charity through their monthly salary.
